After many delays the plant babies

Just following the steps in the guide. It suggested upping the nutes up to 50% of full strength the last 2-3 weeks of Veg. So I started at 25% of 50% and increased a little each res change. I'm planning on doing 2 1/2-3 1/2 more weeks of veg. I don't wanna transition to flowering until after my daughter arrives next week. Veg state is safer to be away from for several days rather than the transition.
 
I also can't help but think that if I could keep the res temps about 15 degrees lower they'd been growing even faster
 
I know what you mean, but the way I see it, we are in a relationship with each plant. I really feel that. You were a good doctor to her.

BN1 is almost covering the lid entirely and I should be able to remove the reflector under the plant.

i retrain them every other day keeping the new tips low and turn the interior tips up and tuck the central fan leaves down.

i broke a tip of PM2 trying to remove a tie that had slid and accidentally clipped the tip. The two side sprouts immediately filled in and had tips of their own less than 12 hours later. Apparently she learned from her early broken arm and responds more quickly to trauma now.

The size difference between CB1&BN1 (no defoliation) versus CB2&BN2 which had light defoliation (3 lower fan leaves on inner four colas) is apparent. the 1's nearly cover their lids while the 2's have a bit more to go.

Thanks man. They're really going into full on grow-like-a-mofo mode. I retrain them as needed every night. Nice low flat bushy table. They drank over a gallon each since I topped off two days ago.

Just topped off again and I'm pulling the water for the res changes to let it sit. Although I'm not sure of the efficacy of it as the water treatment center near me uses the chloramine sanitizer instead of just Chlorine.

My daughter should be coming any time now so I'm def gonna veg these girls another week.

It's almost time to let them start growing vertically before inhit the switch to flower.

I want to experiment with a scrog on one plant next grow and see how that works for me combined with the manifolding I'm doing.

Day 38 from seed

The training on the main colas after manifolding has resulted in these nice flat canopys with many happy growth spots.

the plants are 8-9 inches tall but spread way out. BN1 completely covers her tank lid and CB1 is close behind.

theyre gonna be kept in Veg until my daughter is born and when I get back from the hospital I'm flipping the switch to 12/12.

Im not worried that they'll overgrow the lights or space. I have 8 foot ceilings in the room I built and they have plenty of room to grow outwards too.

Topped off the rezzes with ph'd tap water. They grew another several inches over night.

current height of tallest plant, 40 cm. Taking them until Wednesday in Veg, doing a res change and flipping to fower

Day 45 from seed.

Reservoir change. Flipped the switch to flower. Lights or at 8am and back on at 8pm

plants are between 40 and 55 cm tall, perfect height for flowering stretch

defoliated CB1 and spread the colas out.

Tied em down and flattened out the top.

Day 5 of flower

Switched out the MH bulbs for HPS.

Plants are so bushed out now they're getting challenging to rotate.

I'm definitely gonna try scrog on at least one plant next grow

theyve drank about 1/2 their water since last change. Gonna top off for now and water change on sunday

Flower day 7

fun fact when your lid is no longer able to support the weight of the plant and the net pot slips down into the reservoir and your plant tilts like crazy.

used zip ties and duct tape to give it more support

Defoliated everything in the canopy shadow and removed larger fan leaves and tucked the ones in the middle of the plants back. My finger tips were sticky afterwards

looking at the comparative side of the plant that I broke the arm of very early.

I probably shouldve sacrificed it and just trained the other half of the plant. It is definitely the flipper armed kid in gym class
