After many delays the plant babies

I'm an idiot.

@allatup you noticed the slight curling to the leaves. I raised the light two inches...

still was getting more curl. Just went out to the workshop to lock up and I noticed my light was still on...

the poor girls have been getting 24hrs of light since I changed the water. No wonder they were curling. They will get 5.5 hours of rest and back to 18/6.

You're not an idiot; those light timers can be delicate bastards!! Thank heaven they are in vegetative phase!!!!!

I was resynching them up to the proper time after a power outage experienced during germination. I totally forgot to switch it from on back to timer.

I was also puzzled by the amount of heat in the workshop during the day....thankfully the temp/RH monitor I have in the room showed a high of 85 F and low of 81 with RH high of 59 and low of 51.

Aside from the accidental 72 hour day the conditions inside the room are perfect for vegging.

Update on the leaf curl.

I also noticed some spotting on CB2's fans.

Pretty sure it is wind burn. Gonna have to reposition my fans tonight

PM2 is blowing the others away. Biggest root system, biggest spread, most growth.

I'm thinking that she will get the 400w for herself while the other 4 split the two 600's

O M F G

I was pushing down on the growth on PM2 and snapped the manifold branch almost entirely off!

if there was ever a reason for me to quit drinking...aside from the impending birth of my daughter...severely damaging my healthiest plant is unforgivable.

i taped it up within two minutes and added a lil support for the broken branch made of card stock.

painful lesson

Taping it up is exactly what you should do. PLEEEEEZE tell me that you are not drinking heavily at 6 in the morning!!!!!

Not heavily. Six shots. I got off work at 4am. Got home smoked and did the shots.

I've done some bad stuff while blackout drunk in the past...so I limit what I drink...but I felt worse about this than I did beating the shit out of a 22 year old kid who drew a gun on me. (He tried to rape my best friend and surrogate daughter so I was justifiably angry...but not being a fan of violence I felt bad afterwards)

If you train your plants eventually you will snap one at least once. Like riding a bike, nobody learned without crashing. The bright side is you can clone the ones you snap. I speak from experience 🤔 I've crashed and cloned😁 cheers

Sorry, Ian, I was just joking around!! I don't hold it against you for beating the shit out of a rapist... My bad.

I have broken stalks, and if you tape them good and tight, most of the time they mend.

I wish I had the gear to clone. I was gonna try cloning on my 3rd grow.

Right now though it is not looking good. The next day or so will tell.

At least I can just veg longer and train the damaged plant in a single spiral around the resevoir.

She is wilted on one side...I'm hoping she recovers but the unbroken side is filling in well.

Im glad this happened with this plant...this one has 2-3 times the root mass of the others and can regenerate faster.

Im hoping her arm can be saved though. Time will tell.

That new growth still looking ok makes me think that I got her taped in time and that she drew moisture and materials from the larger leaves to reconnect with the well nourished main stalk, protecting the new shoots.

Biologically speaking that makes sense. I'm hoping she heals up fully and that half of her revitalizes.
