Adjust lighting during flowering?

Hi there,
I’m growing 4 auto flower plants in an Aerogarden (hydroponic)
Thanks to your advice I did a 20-4 cycle this time and they are FAR happier than at 12-12!
I am at week 8 and it seems they are stalling a bit… if I were to reduce the light to say 16-8 would that stimulate more flower production?

Probably not, but no info to go from. Many do run 18/6 on their autos in flower, to save money on power, and many think they do need a sleep time of at least 4 hours.
