About done or No?

New white pistols when I thought it was almost done? What gives? Its a Afghan plant but not much resin glands is this normal?

I don't understand why they are not producing resin glands like i would have expected at this stage. Its week 9 in flowering.

That's what I'm asking, not much in the trichome department! Nothing like my last grow. I have to look real hard to see any at all! Its not covered with them like you'd expect!

I would decide if you have more red hairs than white than pull them

How long have you been flowering? I think most afghans finish in 8-9 weeks due to the heavy indica genetics.

They look about done done with the leaves purpling. I think the harvest window is open. When it doubt, wait another day is what I was taught.

If this were a base strain-like early lineage afghan- I mean anything is possible right- then I would not expect alot of trichomes. I would expect not a big THC and more of a cbd/n or even a lower mix of all - especially with the region it comes from.

Northern lights is a cross from Afghan- and its full of trich and resin... I think its mainly genetics and breeders doing a good job.

The strain bank, in California. got 10 fem seeds for 250.00 started with 4 of them.. 3 of the 4 were Male!! Says right on their site Guaranteed!! Pffffttt!! He wouldn't do anything but offer a discount on my next order!! Said its not their fault! ............ OK, must be mine!!! I get going every time I think about it.
