A cloning question

I just got some cuts from my buddy and I put them in the cloner, just tap water, do any of you guys ph the water, and to what ph??

I know a lot of people do. I used to but don't now. I have well water with ph of 7.63 and just use that now. Also no additives, no clonex on clones. Just cut about 45° and put them in the collars. Run 24/7 and in couples they are ready for solo cups.
Also tried cut and stick in solo cup of promix hp with same results. Not a pro by any stetch of the imagination. Just finished my 4th try but have 100% results so far.

I start them at 5.8pH and aerate the mix. I use liquid nutes at an EC of 0.3. Low N from memory so flower nute mix. I adjust the pH back down to 5.8pH every 24 hours as the aeration makes it climb, whick you need it to do. 150PPFD to start. 24/0 light cycle to start.

I use my own setup, aeroponics so humidity doesnt really matter. Temps around 21ish. Dont let the nute mix temps climb too much. Change over nutes every week or so.

Most importantly, total darkness in root area. Any light and it wont grow roots but you can keep em going like that for a while without issues.

I have tried both cloning in flower and in veg.

Aeroponics method give you 100% success rate either way so I stuch with veg as its quicker and kess stress for the plants
