I decided to finally cull my sativa dominant plant. This thing has been a dream to grow. It never snapped, even under my untrained hands, and it loved to main line. I just want to make sure my plants grow well together, and I feel having this one would complicate things more than I can trust myself to handle. But before I do, let's go down memory lane of my little Cough #2

Nice job on that ML. Only think i could recommend is to make sure the plant is in the middle of the pot so the ML reaches the sides of the pot at the same time.

I felt sad when I harvested some corn this summer, all plants I'm attached to and they to me. (and the fertilizer)

Be prepared to KNOW your next grow will be the best ever!! (my last harvest clone from seed is better then mother because I didn't deviate from anything! Ph.6.00 , not hot or cold, light good, air circulation, LOVE!

Thanks Gordo! yea I didn't even notice that I misplaced it until a week after the transplant, so I just didn't want to disturb it at that point haha. Like I wrote here this one just worked. It was very forgiving and resilient. A joy to grow overall.

I've kept 3 other plants, two of them mainlined, and one I just topped as a control group. the other ml cough is looking pretty great, each of the 8 growths distinct and healthy.

my third is a blackjack, and it's had a really hard time. most of my mistakes with snapping and improper shape management have been on it, but it looks like it'll be back on track in a week. I had thought about taking it out instead, but it just smells so good I have to give it a shot. It was also the strain I've been dead set on from the beginning.

Aww man this got me emotional and i haven't even germed yet!!I love how you express it for i've been like a little boy with my first lego over the gear and reading about techs to improve(what i haven't even started yet)

When i first read about ML/MF all i turned around and said to myself was,"Nar mate,u goota pull that out like a T bolt" just as you did hehe!!
What is wrong with the blackjacks leaves and are going lumpy,or is it just over curved and yellow? Asking so i can avoid it later on in my grow!!

It's totally avoidable! A big reason it looks like hat is that early on I grew it with a 1000 watt mh bulb, but I only set the ballast to 600 watts. This made the heat-lumens ratio terrible, and I had to keep it at a low light level to keep it from burning. This caused some big node spacing and I ended up damaging it a lot trying to get it back down to the other two's heights. That damage made me need to fix it more which I messed up again and again until you see this sad sight. It will likely recover, and you might not even recognize the damage a month from now, but I definitely recommend using your bulb at it's rated wattage exactly.

I have height issues in my box (2m height ) but the wilma takes 40 or so from that and that leave me with a good 60-80cm of plant material!!If you would check out my post "The journey begins" and give me your opinion,it would be great!!
