4x4 peg in a 3x3 hole

Maybe some y'all remember me talking about my neighbor's sister's baby's daddy and his recent foray into growing. Maybe not.
Long story is NSBD has more money than he knows how to spend, however hard he tries. Like ordering 4 more Spider Farmer SE5000's than he needes. He's offering me one. His alternative is to throw them away.
The light covers a 4x4 footprint. I have a 3x3x6 tent. Is the SE5000 too much for my tent? The flaps are always open when the light is on so heat is not a super huge issue.

Hell yea, scarf it up! The light can be dimmed so no worries. Don;t let him trash new lights. Someone here could use them hint.

They are an excellent light. You can mount the driver outside the tent.
it'll fit in a 3x3 but I'd upgrade your tent to a 4x4 with that light and keep it a bit higher...it will produce huge buds

I'm with Bluey with getting a 4x4 if you have the space. I've got both size tents and plan on using one for veg an other for flower when needed. Sure helps having bigger footprint .
