4TH YEAR GROW atu

Wikipedia seems to think it’s sativa, and is just a strain thing like I said. Who knows. All I know is I’m with you 100%: I prefer to grow plants with THC, and if I want cbd sometimes, we’ll then that too. But always THC :)

Yeah, I did read that hemp plants are tall and lanky like Sativas, but I've also read that C. ruderalis is good for fiber. So I gotta do a little bit more reading. And yes, all in the Cannabis family, for sure that's right. Just some of the sub-species (the ones we like a lot) have got a lot more chemical complexity than the hemp plants. I wonder what they smell like, what their flowers smell like...

The local grow shop around here is growing some hemp. Their current strain is cherry something or another. It smells really good, actually. A little different, but I smoked some of the flower with the shop owner, and to be honest, it was nice. Not amazing. I’d rather have regular ol weed anyway lol. But it looked and smelled like pot. Pretty crazy.
Also, one local growery was selling their cbd flower for $30 A GRAM. What. The. Fuck. lol. They evidently sold several pounds over the course of a weekend at a festival.

LOL dang lady you do know your weed and I learn a lot from you and this great forum. I must say I for our family we do enjoy a good blended bowl of homegrown cannabis. Your plants look great alltatup those branches are healthy buggers. We are getting low on our stash here at our house, so i'm going to the dispensary in town later today they have " Crown Royal" been wanting to try that. I think they want $ 14 gram. I don't like buying it at all but for trying a strain before I get the seeds.
We have hemp farms around our area to me it smells like flowing weed perhaps abit more skunky. We are traveling to the Rogue River going salmon fishing with my brothers been doing it 30+yrs, camp a couple days kinda why i'm buying the Crown Royal it's my brothers fav. nite cap :) but there are dozens of farms where were going and it's prime time for smelling flowers so i'll try and pay attention LOL. I probley got 3wks till one plant can be harvested another month for cure at least but i'm gonna have to do some quick dry just so we don't have to shell out $$ course my neighbors will oblige if I asked to borrow a jar. Man it's a beautiful day here just fall at it's finest. Take care

WEEKEND UPDATE:

New box is at day 12 of 12/12. Barney's Cookies Kush is right rear, and she's the tallest and lankiest, with the most Sativa appearance. This plant is described by BF as short and squat: not a chance. She has the largest internodes of the 3 plants.

Budlets are appearing, surrounded by single leaves, just as described in the literature. I never really observed or took a picture of this before, but it's pretty cool:

I remove sweating leaves daily and make sure there's good air circulation. Humidity is staying 49-50% in the room.

I switched the Old Box to flower last weekend, so this is day 6 of 12/12 for C99 and Jack H;

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that little Jack will do some serious stretching and get into the phat bud-producing light zone. I've also decided that from now on, I will germinate extra seeds so as to make sure that I have three strong plants per box. However, I have no doubt that C99 will do a good job of filling the box. Like she did on the last grow, she has lots of colas surging up from the bottom, most of which will get into the light. She has grown a lot in 6 days.

:alltatup Aaah, with you. Cheers Atu :) Lovely grow you`ve got going there and I know I keep saying it, but it`s dazzlingly clean and spotless-very, very impressive. I bet your house is immaculate

alltatup I think you may be telling porkies..if I was pushed to make an assumption I`d say your house was spotless, white and pastel walls and skirting including burnt orange, airy with hanging Mexican rugs, cacti and a very homely sofa plus a well stocked wine rack and guacamole in the fridge and original Australian aboriginal art tastefully displayed. Plus, mega soft triple layer toilet paper and incense or essential oils wafting discreetly in the background as chimes...well...chime as sea tainted air softly caresses them whilst in the distance Flamenco can be heard being played by a youthfully talented neighbour. As you can tell I am gifted with the Far Seeing Eye which is quite an achievement considering I`m very short sighted

s62 Forget it he's a phony: he saw somebody else's house.

PaganRich Here's the situation at my house: I have a sick cat who poops inside (mostly on the pads I put down) 3 or 4 times a day, and always misses the pad when she pees; I haven't mopped in a long time (but I always wipe down the pee spots on the floor), the floors are dirty, there are lots of dust bunnies hiding (hidden dust doesn't bother me). I did sweep up all the dead roaches lying around the other day, and I spot clean--but only one spot at a time.
It does smell like patchouli and cinnamon, orange peel and peppermint, ylang ylang, etc., because I spray after the cat shits.

The walls are not pastel--just an off-white blue. There's a Peruvian rug on one wall, and a 1939 long scroll from Bali depicting the war among gods, demons and humans; I have some old hippie painting I did here and there, Indian tiles, and you are correct that the sofa is comfy. There's no wine rack and no wine. But that's the only thing you're correct about.

(That's not my cat, but I love the pic.)

And my toilet paper is single-ply--has been for decades.

Single ply, no-BS, no-quilting is where it’s at. Cleans your ass well and doesn’t leave a mess behind. All those multi-ply, quilted ass-papers leave little nasty dingleberry balls behind after wiping. Yuck!
Also, TMI, I know lol. ATU, you’re a cat person? Same here. I love cats, especially mine, but my basement (aka grow room) reeks of cat piss. I clean it multiple times a week and it still smells lol. I’m just hoping my cat never makes it into my tent! She’d chew my plants and pee in the pots!

s62 Wow, I TOTALLY feel the same way about single-ply!!!!! Someone out there understands me!!!!

Soon enough, however, PaganRich will set off an argument by stating that a handful of straw was good enough for the vikings, so that's what he uses, and that it's the best. Just watch.

alltatup You can`t use straw lass. Bits`d get stuck up there and when you`d fart it`d be like a bag of flour exploding. For gods sake woman, let`s be pragmatic here. Really...straw
