I have just about 4 weeks until harvest. I have seen many different techniques to make buds bigger and potent. Molasses, keep in dark before harvest, etc. Just wanting any ideas on what i can do to get biggest and best harvest. This is my first grow and has gone amazingly so far! Any input is appreciated.

I feel like this kind of got off topic. I am using 330 watts of t5 light and 4 42watt cfls, working GREAT! My question is in regards to whether all the little off the wall things work, like adding molasses or leaving in dark before harvest or anything else you can suggest. I am in coco coir general hydro trio, calmag, floralicious, and kool bloom. I will post pics from today soon. Thanks guys!

12 bulbs.....480 watts....banging away...I believe I have proved my point...
I keep coming at you because your info is wrong...I don't want to discourage other growers from using cfls...they work great....

Why to you say four weeks till harvest? Are you going by breeders timelines? Flower estimates can be optimistic, at best, sometimes. Especially if you are growing with CFL's, like me, it usually takes longer for plants to fully mature. Checking trichomes is still the gold standard.

If he is running on a commercial time-frame he has a split 4 weeks to go which will ad 2 weeks of drying/curing for a commercial smoke again!!If he has heat waves coming up or storms he must hurry so he doesn't blow a fuse in the storm and remain with no lights or something!! I have dated my harvest on the 24th of March because i allow them only 9 weeks of flower regardless of breeders saying it needs 8 for commercial grow! Depends on how you grow also,not what you grow only
Not jumping at you but some of us,commercial growers or not,do have a tight time-frame for growing!!I need to have a full harvest by the end of March because 600w HID's will kill anything in the room after mid April where i am and i need to get LED's in before 4/20 so i can order my Led's and Seeds with a single payment (4/20 for seed freebies hopefully and it just happens that it a month after i harvest so just in time to enjoy my smoke and start over again)
