I'm just before buying one and I was wanting to know if they will all get the job done in a small tent. Some brands are kinda high and some are just a little over 300 bucks with a good warranty reckon they will work? And what gets the hottest 315 or 400hps ? Any help would be much appreciated.
 
I have a Sun System 315 LEC in a 4'x4'x7' tent no problem keeping 70-80 degrees. My grow room is 12x12 closed heat vent in the winter,open A/C vent in the summer. Don't know about hps. Do know I'm very happy with L.E.C........mike drop!

I have two of the Phantom 315 LEC in my large flower room love them wish I had two more. In my smaller flower room is a single 400 watt HPS both of the 315 run about the same temp as my 400 watt but they're in a much larger room all with AC and CO2. Show you a quick picture of the last Harvest on one 315 you be the judge.

Looking good Sammy, I heard they ran not to hot, and by looking I can see they grow some damn good looking buds son, good job. I'm getting one, that's all i need is one ,small tent plus already gotta good stash.Thanks for your help.
 
I failed to mention I bought the cooling kits totally unnecessary. The only real heat I get is from the ballast and the dehumidifier. Got to love summertime in the south ☀️
 
I think it's growershouse has a 315 LEC conversion kit that might be worth looking at I think with a bulb you could do it for about 250 prices are coming down though. Also I saw a 400 watt CMH just something else to look at. Best of luck let us know what you decide.
 
Sammy they got one on Amazon for less than 200 bucks called Illuminati that's to cheap ain't it? And another for 215 from i think from Horticulturesource i think thats right with a 3 year warranty, I'm thinking thats to cheap for a good one,what do you think. I been looking at Phantom like yours an at Sun Systems ,but with a 3 year warranty I don't see how you can go wrong. What do you think. Thanksagain
