315 LEC grow lights

Any feedback back on 315 LEC lights? Can't remember but I think Green uses them. Reviews say different things. More or less heat output vs 400w HPS? Also, one review said ballast was loud... are they? Thinking about upgrading grow for personal use and only want to do this once so all input is greatly appreciated!

Not loud...no sound at all...in my opinion they are the best..hands down...buds up...low heat...exhaust carries that away...

Yeah, how far do you keep light above top of plants? Want to make sure I have enough height.
