I think you'll be happy with the FFOF. It's a great media. There have been complaints of fungus gnats with organic medias, so I highly suggest getting some yellow sticky traps. Kingfish cuts them up and puts them on popsicle sticks (simple but genius).

Also, some say FFOF is too hot for seedlings. I transplanted a nirvana freebie from rooting plug straight into ocean forest and she did fine... until I threw it away a week later as it was just an experiment.
