Listen to it again on utube, this morning if you don't have it recorded or on tape, it's blows us away around the house this morning, the whole family is here this morning, looking at 5 inches of snow, hitting the pipe an having sing alongs, even all the youngsters are here, they ain't never seen snow, me neither ,but 2-3 times.
Wish you were here with us.
 
Wow, DAAS, 5 inches of snow!!!!! That's amazing. We had a lot of rain in the past 42 hours, and it got cold for the first time--well, cold being in the 40s during the day...
 
How about since the fifties , we've had a few ice storms, but we ain't had over 5 inches of snow in forever, that I can remember an I was born in 1951
 
we got hit to ,for us its not such a big problem , did you take the kids out to make snow men or sliding ,and is it gone already lol
 
Sorry Alltatup, I missed your post, we've been growing in that soil forever, since we were real young, I guess since 66-68, all we had for help was an occasional HighTimes magizine, we used to put 2- 3 dead fish in the bottom of the holes ,we thought we were doing something, some of them did grow way taller than 10 foot though.
 
As soon as the Afghan is dry, I'm letting a friend take these 4 young autoflower plants and take care of them, I told him we would split whatever he harvested.
Its just now got cold enough to run the snakes an mosquitoes off, and we're going huntin till the season is over at the end of January. Got a hellava of a stash to take huntin, it's time to fill the freezers back up with smoked venison sausages, my family eats the hell out of that sausage, plus that's how I make my cash money, is guiding them rich folks huntin an fishin. This is what I've been taking my youngins after lately. I couldn't afford to put the time in to scout this year so no tags for deer. But bass trout and crappie are trembling hahahahha.

Thanks Calikid for those nice words, when we go to the Ms.River delta huntin, the whole family goes, the 14 year old twins, have harvested more big bucks than I have, that's what it's all about, is keeping the kids in God's great outdoors, to see pretty things again for a change.
 
Thank you 88, Where we hunt ,we are supposed to be the only ones on that property, but you never know, we have caught a couple of pot poachers over the years, but I promise you they ain't been back. ,and ain't coming back, we scared them so bad.. You have a great holiday season to TF88
