2023 Solo cup challenge

Calling all solo cup growers. I had some seedlings left over with no home, so a Solo cup grow is being started. Anyone else want in on this? I challenge you to a grow off. It may be a little late, and the plants I'm starting with are the runts of the batch. That doesn't matter. The only thing that matters is that it is grown in a Solo cup only.

Here are the rules:

1. Must be this year's grow.

2. Grow the roots in one 18oz. cup only (red is optional but recommended).

3. No extending the roots into another container.

4. One category for height, another for harvested bud by weight.

5. No other rules. Grow it as big as you can. Bonus for usable bud.

My start. They need to be hardened over first. I'm only entering the 3 plants in the yellow water tub.

Nosir. Hell nosir! I'm not out because I was never in.
Last time this happened, the competition was between hydro type, soilless growers. We lowly soil people had no chance against that. Strain differences. Reg, photo, or fem.
Want to make it a fair deal? Everyone gets 4 seeds from the same plant. Have categories for mediums.
Several people are currently growing from our personal manbroseedmeisterdude. I see competition there.
I don't mean to poo-poo on your idea. I'm still a little bitter about the last official challenge.

Oh, Gingerbeard you can sit this out if it makes you feel better. I would recommend hitting some dabs and chilling out. It is all in fun and there is nothing to win but bragging rights. A little chicken never bothered me. 4 seeds from the same plant, all even, bla bla bla... I'm retired and am done with all the picky rules. Relax and have some fun, that is why I do it, to pass the time and chill. And don't be bitter about it, we are watching.

The first pix plants were grown outdoors had had the record for height. The second was indoors but hermied, so it was put down. The third was indoors and harvested usable bud.

I planted 2 seeds on a whim, straight into solo cups with happyfrog, and one came up yesterday. The seeds came from my last grow, a suspected self pollinated herm, fem sour diesel freebie seed (that was also a polyploid). It (they) will stay outside and hopefully survive in their og solo cup. So it will be a… solo cup, outdoor, 12-12ish from sprout, fingers crossed for a fem and 3 grams kinda grow🤞

How are yours doing Ckbrew ?

I hope everyone is well!! ✌️ & 💚

Day 41 bloom

Here are my indoor solo cup grows. These are the plants that were grown as seedlings to be given away and wound up not being claimed. They were the runts of the batch. They were vegged for only 21 days then flipped. They are now on day 41 of bloom.

Thanks budgal. The polyploid was pretty sweet, and one that I don’t mind getting seeds off of for future potential mutants!

Had a second join the party. It is from unknown origins. The og seed didn’t germ so this one is a random seed I found on my tool box. Same rules apply to this one as the other 🤞

Stray seeds are welcome. Usually my solo plants are the non selected runts from a germination batch. Good to see a non runt seedling to the run.
