Boy she sure is Bowhunterwoody. I really really wanted to clone her but i swore off it this season. I don't want to grow anything more till after the new year. This year harvest is a big one, i got so much weed and these last 3 are gonna really put me near 3lbs it looks like total from 7 plants. It's plenty for me to share an trade with and still have enough for all year. I'm glad i don't have to trim anymore for few days an give my hands a break. Watched a very good movie while trimming this morning just did freak show gal today. All my scissors are being soaked in ISO 70% . That purple is a 3 run homer from new420guy seeds. I grew 2 and her sister did not show this purple as much and was short only 3 1/2ft and heavy tight nodes.
Well I brought the small volunteer plant inside about a week ago to avoid rot but saw a bit of it on there today so chopped the whole thing. Also saw rod on my outdoor plant today so chopped that one as well. The one I brought inside was basically done so I'm happy with that, but the one outside was pretty much still all white pistols. Maybe I'll just turn it into hash or something I don't know. I got to tell you, the smell on both of these is pretty amazing, the volunteer one is just like fresh sliced oranges, beats you over the head with it. I think next year I'm going to stick to auto flowers for my outside grow, this is just too much heartbreak.
Dew on everything here this morning and now it's 90â°F. Humidity of a day below 20% and of a night over 90% here. 8" of rain forecast for the next 3 days....This grow season here I am certain will be a zero yield for outdoor growers.
2 weeks would do it, but rot hitting mine big time. set limitto chop if/when any get to around 50% buds left. thinking likely end of this week. sucks! so much fog at night now.
It's so different here Franklin the weather just a few hrs south. Yes it's in the low 40's during the night but if you only had a way to cover them during the rain and misty foggy weather it sure would help. Autos did great for me although i won't put the sprouts out as soon as i did, way to cold. I've still got the 3 outside and weather here says 70-80 by friday, no rain. I see no mold but i did remove rot from catipillar damage but it's not even a issue. Those do look sparkly i'm just sorry you did'nt get the full version of your grow.
Thanks SoOrbudgal The weather today was rainy but the next several days should be really sunny, I actually did put the plants under a roof a week and a half ago when it started raining but that didn't keep the bud rod away
Yikes- feel like I'm flirting with disaster but the girls need more time. Unseasonably warm temps right now. Start the week in the 80s and we'll be in the low 50s by the weekend. Not much rain to speak of, just the normal pests...WPM and swarms of fruit flies. I actually have ladybugs flying to my plants...eating gooey fruit flies i assume. The plant in the middle is the re-veg girl. I dont think i have enough time to get things back in step. She is back to flowering but the main cola and a few upper colas have stretched out and started a bunch of new flowers with fluffy white pistils. Another month maybe? May have to finish in the garage.
Well shit just when i thought it was gonna be safe it rains late afternoon an through the night. So i'm removing branches that look all cloudy and i can't see well at all anymore when judgeing trichs so i'm pretty much going by length of flowering and how curled red hairs are. Yes i have 2 eye loupes gawd i'm tired of the grow anymore ughhh. I'm just wanting most the hairs to turn red now i don't expect amber but i sure would like some couch lock LOL jars of weed.
The final days are 83* in October. Two more days of sun then the rain returns. That will be it for these. Winter is coming. There are so many acorns falling from the trees the ground is littered with them. If you look close you can see them on the ground. The neighbor has a steel roof that gets pelted. Sounds like fireworks. The last sun of the season...
A close up of mold on the main stem. I coat it with 34% peroxide on a q-tip daily. It is burning the stem bad but idc, only has to last a few more days, yeah- a few more days.
Ckbrew I've dealt with the stem mold(rot) issue before as well, also used hydrogen peroxide (full strength).
But, I then coated the area with wood glue, which seemed to protect it and had no re-occurrence.
Near 85 today, washout coming Saturday and outside chance of some snow showers on Monday!
Will probably chop the white widow this weekend and call it a season.
Yep Ckbrew acorns are raining here too. Like walking on marbles in the yard. Hey GreenState. Heading your way for an outdoor wedding this weekend. What's that they say about rain and good luck? Looks like they're going to have lots of luck.
Bowhunterwoody wish I had better news for the weekend wedding. Saturday's gona be wet Sunday is looking be much better though, few showers in the morning .If it's outside--don't wear your good shoes! Monday, you'll need a hoody.
But, you are hitting peak peeping perfectly
Yes i've had that rot before years back. And man your right about those acorns i still feel them falling on my head. Man what a long year these outdoor grows go on forever in the later months. I have been wittling away at 1 of my 3 left to harvest. Getting to be a drag LOL but i'm real pleased with the amounts i've gotten this season. 7 plants 6 different strains feels good to be able to barter with it or just had it out to friends. Now it's time to put these grows in the books. Thanks for participating Ckbrew i realize it's a long commitment for free light and getting a harvest.
my b.b.by rocket had the start of aggressive white mold attack and had to cut off a few stems - My other plant which is new cross only had a few mild places. I sprayed them with proxide and baking soda / water a few days ago. They are trimmed down but not cut off. I am going to bud wash them in proxide then rinse them before hanging them inside - We all know that shit will spread in the jars if it is not nipped now..
