2023 Outdoor Plants Only Show & Tell

Bowhunterwoody Just saw my 7 day forecast, no rain on Tuesday! Some strong storms came through here last night around 8:00.
Glad plants were inside, had some very strong winds. Might get one more OK day here today, but that's about it.
 
GreenState. Yea I saw those storms up your way. They missed us. Ours start this afternoon. Yes maybe one day of sun Tuesday! Week after looks better if we can get thru this one.

Fantastic weather here were having. Mid 80's breeze no rain in site. My colas are filling in nicely, gave them some molassess few days ago with the watering and i believe it did plump them buds up. They are all going to get the last bloom feed tomorrow morning then it's water from the hose an unsulferated Molassess till croptober. Maybe looking better to harvest a couple prior to Oct. Things are changing fast now for a change. Leaf fades an some colorful ones. Smells are just wonderful outdoors and no damn catipillar sign yet.
 
I can't do my heavy work without my cart. I had a neighbor fella lift 50# sacks of pea gravel into the cart for a down spout drain i redug. I can lift but i don't if i don't have too. 30lbs is about my max i do anymore. homegrown the more indica dominant the strain the 15gal pot still only grows 6ft. And i don't feed them for a couple months cause i blend my own light fluffy soils with worm casings an composted grass clippings things like that. I'm doing some now in a tote with a lid cooking away in my greenhouse.
 
Boy those sure look good Ckbrew i love watching those storms but the damn lightning has been hitting the forests here badly. Today is a smoke free day cause the wind is blowing in a different direction.
 
When outdoors in the sun best not to sit the pots on concrete or asphalt as the temps will get much higher than ambient and try and cook your roots. Black pots in the sun not great either. Terracotta works well as it breathes and allows the pot to transpire and self cool.
 
Certainly seems like the girls are later this year. I only intended to have one Straberry Cough outdoors , but a couple of cuttings meant for someone else became surplus ( the recipient lost house to forest fires), so i grew em. Looking good to me so far. I had a little 6 by 8 greenhouse that I finally asembled to see if i can get the Strawberry cough and Top 30% to finish. the Tropicana Poison Fast has proven to not be a strong strain so if she makes it, will be ued in tinctures. Good Luck to all in this weird weather summer. strawberry cough in background is the one from seed.

oh yeah. I noticed mold starting at places where i thinned out leaves early on. I always wondered in the past if the wounds would lead to rot more so than leaving thicker and am leaning towards not defoliating. nothing will be proven, but I am not doing any leaf removal other than the ones that die and dry - outdoors.
 
My outdoor grow is progressing very well. That’s a 1 gallon watering can in the pictures for scale. The big girl is between 5 and 6 feet tall from the soil.

I’m incredibly lucky, my second time with regular seeds and I somehow got 4 girls out of 4, yippee!
There is one pic of each plants flowers below, but now that their into flower I don’t think there is any doubt about it.

Now I’m just hoping and praying they finish before fall does 😬🤞

I’m also making plan B and C if they don’t

I feel like my plants are late to flower too. Where abouts are you in Canada @Bootsy?
Not sure why their late. Genetics , but weather too, who knows
 
Hey that ain't no small grow LOL fantastic so happy for you. Man look at that mine stretched abit more during flower now i'm in the home stretch. Those look great. Must be our lucky year for reg seed. I got 2 out of 3 fems from my bag seed. These grow very strong an sturdy. My 2 unknowns are the tallest over 6ft. but got stressed from the heat wave couple weeks back, slowed them down but now it's all good. It's just awesome having your own weed, i can hardly wait to harvest bet your getting there also :)

I'm actually getting a little hopeful about these plants. Checked the trichomes today for the first time and was surprised by the amount of cloudy. Probably about half. They look and smell really good and if I can get thru Wednesday without any issues I'm thinking I can make it. Still no wpm or rot . You can see what we've been dealing with. Humidity and rain for 4 days strait again but somehow they're still chugging along. Hoping for three more weeks. They seem to fatten every day. Still hopeful. Pics just before the ez-up back over them. Another day in paradise.

Thank you SoOrbudgal I’m very excited
They are a strain call green Thai, supposed to be from Thai genetics. It’s a sativa hybrid but obviously bred for shorter flowering times. Breeder said 8-9 weeks.
I’m counting flowing starting middle of the last week of August, to the middle of the first week of September depending on the plant. So harvest for me will be best case, end of October 😬
There could be snow here before then ….
 
A little strawberry (cough x cotton candy kush ) x blue berry...I have grown out this s.c x c.c.k cross for a few years now and can tell the blue berry structure was passed on for sure..The smell has always been that of s.c but this cross it has changed a bit...She is a monster the bud branches are huge in size compared to Franklins F1, S1 and my blue berry..

Took down the auto bastards today. Around 82 days. Smells like ripe blackberries. Going to try again this winter in a more controlled environment.

Heck i'm always surprised you may get lucky and i sure hope you have a dry fall Croptober :) we got great weather here, very cool a.m. mid 80's day. I see some of my indica strains starting to go a tad orange on just a few buds. My time is nearly like your Smallgrow early Oct. maybe 1 plant by end of Sept.
