2023 Outdoor Plants Only Show & Tell

LOL no you are good to go. I consider it protection outdoors using a screen or greenhouse it's outdoors. Man i hate grasshoppers got scared as a kid when my brothers use to chase me with those friggin huge ones that spit their juice. Love the strains you choose. I've seen something that looks like grasshopper spit on several of my plants but have'nt seen the bodies of any?

Pics from this morning, I was debugging and broke a limb off, snap no strings to hold it. I tried securing it in place but it broke all the way through no saving it. The 8 Ball Kush is getting bigger fast, and the Scarlets are getting a bit of color to them and hoping for harvest about mid July. Temps are getting to 90*F and will soon be over that. There is 1 of the photos that has went to flowering, hope she dont reveg! Green beens are putting on, pick twice so far need to pick more today. Many tomatoes set with a few about to turn, have bacon ready for those bacon mater samwiches, the cantedews are setting on, wont be long now.

I also sprayed this early a.m. Rwise but only my greenbeans i sprayed my weed a week ago still no signs of chew damage beans were getting hit hard. My tomatoes are setting fruit, no pole beans yet there still climbing but no flowers. Taters are getting real bushy big. Did'nt plant any thing else much working on screens to keep my flippin cats out of these raise beds. Ugh :( your plants got that early jump so i would'nt worry to much if just 1 photo flowered she just may be OK maybe harvest her earlier than the others.

Well I saw Rwise post so i ran out took some pics to update these outdoor ladies. From left to right we have a shot of my old greenhouse finally got setup with my daughter an her friends help. 2nd pic is my autos an the freakshow gal chugging along the row of photos all smaller indica crosses last pic looking down on Wedding Cake she sure is a short squat plant if she goes 5ft tall i'd be OK with it. It's a busy time of year for us with limits to doing outdoor chores. Got my patio built which was my only big goal so i can sit outside rain or snow or i can sit in my old hippie greenhouse sweat to the oldies of yesteryear. Anyway their growing fine no early flower but in a few weeks they'll start setting preflower i'd imagine. Temps were in the 89-95f with a nice breeze but it's a warm one. Watering every 2 days, top dressing with worm poo and feeding age old organics grow when they look hungry for more. My soil i mixed seems used up of it's composted material so it's only teas an top dressing and a rare feeding of the AOG. First time outdoor growers just saying that patience and bug prevention is one key to a successful grow lots of patience.

I cut the grass then sprayed the yard with spinosad, 80% less grass hoppers today. I am picking bugs off, mostly those damn horned green sap suckers, a few caterpillars, 1 bore worm a few stink bugs white hoppers. I also spotted some lady bugs and yesterday a baby praying mantis. Staggered harvests are a good thing!

Coming along well! I have to do Freakshow next year, I have the seed just ran out of grow space before I found them.

Looking good SoOrbudgal. Nice color on everything. Wish I had some of your heat. Only low 70s and still upper 40s . After Thursday a chance of rain for 12 straight days. We'll see. Here are my girls. Two photos are getting tall. Up-potting tomorrow. 3 Scarlets are doing their thing. Sunset is showing crazy color. Maybe the low temps.

Today and for the next several days the temps in my area are dipping to the mid 70s with some rain in the north end there saying? I have visability at 5:30am so i walked outback to see how mine are doing and i tell ya the 4 autos are droppy but the pots are heavy from 2days ago giving them water. It's a patience and luck even if you do things right, outdoors ain't for sissys.

Some close ups of the one I hope does not reveg, 21st is my longest day. IF she makes it 2 more weeks I'll be lookin for that early harvest, maybe August. Shes a cross tween Berryfreak and Santa Marta Colombian Gold.

Never had too many problems with bugs. White fly I have had prolific numerous times but a few gentle sprays on the leaves, soapy water, and they'd die or go away. You could shake the plant and a white cloud would appear but plants were pretty hardy and not too badly effected.
Caterpillars I picked off by hand, spiders I left alone, snails were a constant pest so I'd sprinkle used coffee grinds around the base of the plant but they do impact yields so I'd vary it with snail pellets. Keeping them off the ground on stands seemed to work best for snails and probably helped with all the non flying bugs...never had a locust problem either.

I thought I saw one or two of those in the background of an earlier pic you posted. Nice work on that ABC...ever seeded them?

I've been unable to follow your Bastard posts because it says I'm "not authorized" and I really would like to know how it smokes? Such a crazy looking plant.
