2 plants 1 vacation

Hey all!
I got these 2 plants going, I realized I'm leaving for a month so I have to chop now. Now one of them looks ready, so I think now is perfect, but my other one looks far from ready. Should I toss it or can I use it for edibles?

Sadly no friends close enough. I have my parents but I don't think they would appreciate me asking them to tend to my marijuana plants lol they don't even watch my kids :hard-laugh:

So I think the first one I can safely cut but the second one would there be a use for edibles or it just won't be potent enough?
