2 plants 1 pot

So I do have 2 plants in 1 pot. Thought I might give it a try. Has anyone doe this ? What should I expect?

Based on my limited experience - 2 outdoor grows, I did 3 per once, and 2 per once. Got fine results both times. But! I would not do that next time. it's a trade off. I now feel that a single healthy plant, properly trimmed to branch properly, will yield more than multiple plants that compete for light and nutes in the one pot scenario.
 
It works better with larger pots, these are 135 gallon raised beds with multiple plants.
