1st time grower should I harvest

Hi all this is my 1st ever grow it's a GG4 auto on day 98 since sprouting most of the tricombs are cloudy but not much amber but I clipped a small bud and let it dry for a few days before smoking it and the buzz was really nice so I'm being told to wait a little longer until there's more amber in the tricombs but to me it looks like it's dying the way the leaves are all yellow and shriveling but I'm being told it's pretty much just the plant cannibalizing itself to feed the buds so what would you do wait or harvest?

The buds with white pistols I'd keep going if they are still growing. The buds that have no new growth I'd start harvesting. Keep the separate so you can see the different effects of harvesting at different times.

Pic 3bottom right corner is that basil or cannabis?

It looks like its fox tailing in the 2nd picture is it warm in the tent? Do you have a loop to view the trichomes?
Nothing wrong with harvesting in stages

You are inside the window for harvest. Depends on if you want racy, take it sooner, or couch lock, take it later. In any case you should strip off anything that is brown, dead or almost there. Staged harvest is always an option. Be watching for bud rot. The longer the wait the higher the risk. You wouldn't go wrong taking it wow. If you see any rot dispose of it and harvest the plants.

Bingo! That is clearly foxtailing. I would harvest. Since they are foxtailing, they'll keep putting out white pistils on top (see pic) . Need to check temps at canopy level. That plant needed some love. Poor girl...
