Hey Kpenn, yeah their not ready yet, they just letting you know they getting closer when they quit drinking as usual.
You got to keep looking at those trichs, one time your gonna look at them an your gonna see lots more brown, its easy after the first time, you don't want clear. Patience an keep looking.

Dang their feed amounts stay pretty consistant. No real drops in amounts.

D.A.A.S.69 I spent a good half hour or so just looking at trichs today, I feel pretty confident 2/3 are about 30-40% cloudy and the other one seemed just a bit more cloudy but I actually saw a few amber, and not even on all the colas just on a few bud sites.

Today marks week 8, 56F

Here are some pictures of the trichomes from this morning. Quality isn’t the greatest but it’s all I have to work with right now, I taped my jewelers loupe to my phone camera.

Heres the first one,

Second one, I think I’m going to harvest this one on Sunday 1/21. In the second picture there is an amber trichome, I figured I’d give her a few more days but I wanted to harvest one a little on the early side just to get a feel for the different stages of trichome production.

Hey Kpenn, those are nice looking, I see a few amber but I still see alot of clear trichs, at least wait until they get cloudy, milky, it want be very long, an I promise you will be glad you did when they get done. Super buzz big time.

Thank you guys! you think the second girl will be all cloudy by Sunday? That’s the one that had a few amber, the other two girls seemed to still have more clear trichs than cloudy though.

Its gonna be close enough i guess, all i know is I'm Never harvesting a plant early again, unless an emergency. I'm waiting on cloudy-milky, an 20-30amber I love the couch to dream on. I don't know how you like yours but clear trichs aren't any good, you want to wait till they at least get cloudy ,so at least you get a good buzz, you did a good job with them.

I think I have harvested a little early more often than not, and I'm set on waiting until I see an amber triche or two this time. I've never let it get to amber.

I checked the trichs on the one I’m wanting to harvest on Sunday, noticeably more amber. Definitely not the 20% most are looking for. But the ol lady likes a daytime high (another reason why I want to harvest one a little on the early side) so now that I’ve seen more amber/ less clear on her I’m forsure harvesting her on Sunday.

The other two I’m waiting until they have 20% amber though.

Best part about growing it yourself is you can experiment and tailor your crop to whatever best suites your needs. This grow is going to be a baseline so I can figure out what I like best, I may hate the early harvested stuff or love it. But we’ll find out and that’s what it’s all about.
