1st grow should I harvest soon?

1st time grower looking for input on if I should harvest my NL. I have attached some pics of one branch that was folded over so I trimmed it off. The pics were taken with an Iphone. I am hoping for some input from some more experienced growers on whether I should go ahead and harvest the rest of the plant. I appreciate any input.

You are close. Pistils have shrunk and withdrew a bit. The calyxes are showing signs they have swollen but may not be at maximum potential. The real indicator though would be the color of your trichomes. It's not very clear but it seems a majority of yours are milky but I don't see much if any amber. This is a guideline, not a rule, personal preference will establish your tastes but when it is 10% amber, 80% milky and 10% clear, consensus says your plants are ready for harvest.

It looks like you're in the window and can go anytime in the next week or so. I used to wait until I had 20% to 25% amber but have kind of moved away from that this year. Last year's grow I harvested some at 5% amber and found that many people were preferring those mostly milky buds to the more sedative 25% amber. Most people I know like to get high and still function over the heavy check-out stupor kind of buzz. It all comes down to what your looking for. I think no matter what you choose you're not going to be disappointed. Good looking grow.

Yep at the point where you have to decide what high you want to get from them. If you like the energetic high they look about ready, but if you want couch potato high you should wait a little longer. Make sure you look at more than one bud because like fruit or vegetables they will ripen at different rates. What I do is wait until a few buds are about 50/50 amber yet others are still only cloudy then keep them separate from each other so that you have some daytime smoke and some bedtime smoke. Pics will give you a visual of what everyone is saying.... they're lookin good though great work
