I just spend a few more dollars per seed and get feminized. Already spent all my teenage years, years ago, hanging out with the guys. My best plant friends are now all female. Why waste your time growing a plant for a few months, then savagely ripping it out of the growing medium so you can use it for compost? More fun watching the girls grow up than worrying about a few nut sacs.
My editorial for the day.

Ha ha Canuck, I agree. I ordered some female seeds for my next grow. Kinda glad I didn't use them for this first dwc incase I screw things up

No Title

Well its been about 11 days since I flipped to flowering. Today I took out 4 males. 6 left that haven't shown yet.

The next grow you should try and do less in a tub, the roots are crazy with just one to a tub. This plant I needed to slow down so I kept taking fan leaves and it stops getting out of control (big) the stalk just gets big ass! more bud and thats all of our goals more bud.

I agree with you man ! Hoping isn't great , also had 2 and one turned out to be a male but the roots are so entangled I can't remove him, so I have to trim him down and make sure no pollen sac opens .. a pain..
Good luck with yours, hope the rest turns out to be girls

Oh really ? How long ago did you do that ? You haven't encountered any problems with root decomposing and causing root rot or something like that ?

It's been less than 2 weeks now. I was told on this forum that they will eventually decompose and be consumed buy the other plants
I also use hydroguard. This is my first dwc so it's all an experiment for me now.

I second Karlee. I found using 2 gal buckets works well though i have to refill them every few days but i dont mind that. I had a setup like yours but smaller and ran into issues with roots tangling and now like the individual res approach. I only do a couple plants at a time so it's not a problem. Good on you for the Hydroguard. I found that it really helps alot with preventing root issues which are common in DWC.

This has been a tough grow nothing is just happening right, but I think if you want to suspend a grow you can just take the temp down low.
I added the heater in the res and it's like they woke up and roots are spread out now, where in the cold they stayed in a ball in the corner I think shivering.
