16 diopter magnification enough?

I was looking at some magnifying lenses that had 16 diopter magnification. Is that enough to see the trichomes or should I not even bother?

Most jewler loupes magnify 10x.
Im pretty sure this is only 5x.

For a dew dollars more a loupe will give much better results.

Look on eBay for “usb 500x microscope” it’s sround 15 bucks and it works great. Anything under 60x it’s not really useful
