12/12 lighting problem

2 weeks into flower and looking great except for the timing.

My dark cycle is from 10am to 10pm, but I want to shift it so it’s dark 8am to 8pm. This morning I shifted down to 9am lights off. My question is should I go lights back on at 9pm for a 12 hour dark period or still 10pm like it has been for a slow transition?

Maybe I should’ve jumped straight to 8:00 but I’d like to hear others opinions. I’ve read so many different threads about shifting a 12/12 cycle, but they all contradict each other in certain ways.
(ex: 24hr flip, “as long as it’s 12”, baby steps, or a quick transition)

No they just don't recommend it in mid to late flower. But your OK doing it now in my opinion just change to the time best for you. Don't wait too long. Good luck

Sounds like early into flower it’s less critical.

I think I’ll turn lights on at 9pm today to keep the dark period at 12hrs and shift down to 8am for dark tomorrow.
