1000w to 600w last week or two of flower harmful?

Reducing an HPS 1000w to 600w, will that have an effect on quality/potency/yield in the last week or two of flower? Is it better to reduce wattage to get the heat down a few degrees (~81F) or keep the light running full blast (~86F)?

I’ve had a ongoing battle with high heat too,I had to drop my HPS down from 600 watts to 200 watts to lower temp to 83. I did this for three weeks or more it did slow down growth luckily I was flushing at the time so not to much to loose I hope.😁

I would choose to lower my temp I do believe.

an AC decided to die and this week randomly noticed flowers were getting a tiny bit bigger for some reason... i've read over and over the last 2 weeks are when most strains really swell up... I'm just not sure which is better to maximize, lumens or temp... it's only a 5 degree difference.
