It's Math time:
The grow took about 12 weeks (84 days) total. (harvest at first sign of amber).
The cost per plant was $83 for even numbers.
The runt was a punt and would have been pulled, if I had another auto seed. (still had 54g of bud).
Looking at the other 2 plants- the yield was 142g...
And then there was TWO.
Moved the tent a week ago and the runt was sporting amber- so it's hanging in the drying tent. I don't expect much from that plant.
The remaining plants are doing just fine- drinking well and in senescence having clear and cloudy trichomes- no amber
It's all over...
**Wounded- self inflicted **
They continue to gain height; so I raised the light by "2" mid week @35" from soil- The 2 sprouts from the topping outpaced the rest of the plant.
I also lolipop a little more; as the light will only penetrate enough for flower @ 24" down.
A quick LST on just...
That was quick - Lolipop and light defoliation. All plants have remained in the their original locations- not needed to move them.
Drinking well- just added a little Bloom, but not sure it was required.
The stretch is likely done and 2 plants are just right for the set light hight @ 33"- with...
Topping Time- Plants #2&3 ready;
Plant #1 was not ready-(may end up a FIM- not much room to work with)-done
Plant #1 recovered in about 2 days from first issue- and continues to lag development by about the same.
Days are usually lost forever with autoflowers as there is little room for error...
First issue- I usually rotate my plants, but not this time.
Plant #1 closest to fans at soil top level, not doing as well. Darker Green, bending stem etc. (likely from direct fan)- transpiring more= more nutrients absorbed.
Plant #2 doing well leaning towards RapidLED light (over Plant...
I'm looking at 10 years on GrowWeedEasy and my original goal (2016) was -
"On a quest making it less complicated/expensive, as far as, the work/reward ratio."
The Set up:
strain: Tangie Auto - Fast buds via Seedsman (2025).
STONINGTON BLEND (bottom 1/2) with Roots Organic Original mixed in...
#3- harvest is very SOON.
Still drinking well- even though most fan leaves have wilted or died. (removed)
Trichomes are cloudy with some amber-
pushing it just a little bit more- won't last another week.
This grow was extremely easy and litttle effort.
I was able set the light/plant etc and water it.
The yields where not that great and having the male appear needing replanting was a minor setback.
The replacement (which I grew in the males soil) is thriving and needed bud support today.
Plant...
Harvest begins: week #12- week #8 in flower. Examined the buds and cut 8 colas cloudy/amber trichomes and left the lower part which were clear/cloudy and white pistils (still growing).
I suspect about 14 days more will do it.
Plant #2 did not show any amber and still had some clear trichomes and...
Pre-Harvest Update= Week #11- Flower week #7 trichomes clear/cloudy, still drinking well- just gave last weekly feed?
I feed until amber trichomes and then pHed water until drinking slows - will cut ripe buds off and stage harvest the rest along with the replacement for mutant plant.
I...
POT PORN: Week #8- Week #4 in flower.
<--replacement plant for mutant-week #3 above ground.
No Work Grow- Set and forget- except watering every 3 days.
Week #6 - plant strectch is about done- good bud formation- I hope to get a little more height (not likely).
Removed a few leaves blocking budsites- Plant size and water consumption consistant with previous grows. weekly Bloom A&B low strength.
<-- dropped a seed in pot that the mutant was...
Interesting turn of events: ALL PLANTs have begun the flowering stretch- showing pistils etc.
The Plant that was much taller and looked futher ahead has pistils and what look like MALE parts-
I will observe for a few days and chop it down if pistils don't develope or more balls appear.
On...
Week #3- top/lolipop window- not quit ready, I topped one plant early @ 4th node as it looked ready to run. I'll try and hold out for 5th node on others.
Mephisto genetics calls for an intermediate skill level of growing- and I notice, no two plants look/act alike. all are healthy without...
