I have a defiant girl on my hands. No mater what I do, she won't bend over. Just look at how twisted the stem is from trying to LST. I think I waited a little too long before I started. The stem was already starting to get woody. I just wanted you all to see this.

This is for you that have vented, glass covered hoods. I just looked at the glass and couldn't believe how dirty they where. I have a inline fan that sucks air and dirt through my light. Not to mention Flies. No telling how many lumens are lost this way. Just a thought.

Has any one ever used this. I highly recommend this for your vegging period. Is like putting your plant on Steroids. And it is relatively cheep. $6.00 qt.

When was the first time you smoked weed? The first for me was in 1966 Fort Bragg North Carolina. I was Barracks Orderly that day and did a favor for a fellow Trooper. Has anyone here ever used Diatomaceous Earth for bug control in your grow? I've been using it to get rid of Thrips and I will use it from now on as a preventive maintenance. Just blow it on top of the soil and on a microscopic level it will cut the bugs so that they dehydrate and die. We talking...

I just discovered Thrips in my new Black Jack Grow. I immediately bombarded them with Pyrethrans I thought I got rid of them bastards.

I'm just nosey. What type of light do you use for vegging and flowering. I use a 6 tube T5 for vegging and 1000w HPS for flowering.

Thrips, I've been battling them the last 3 weeks. First with insecticidal soap. That didn't work, so this morning I bombed them with Doctor Doom. I will check them tomorrow and see. I'm 2 weeks into flowering and want to nip them in the butt ASAP.

I'm starting my new grow with Black Jack from Nivana, but know nothing about the strain. Can anybody enlighten me. Is it sativa, indica or what? The Nirvana web site don't tell you much either.

I just had 4 seeds sprout 3 came up normally but one sprouted with only a quarter of the codoledon leave that's all. Anyone ever experienced that?
