Rj420 I find it easier to manage a sterile setup, than a biome. If you want to keep it inexpensive, use a basic feeding program, manage your temps and pH and you'll have a lot of fun.
These are growing in G.H. Maxi Series with a B vitamin ... it doesn't get cheaper than that.
The closet lacks ventilation and a power supply. I'd go downstairs for those two reasons alone, but having more space is a bonus. You're going to accumulate a ton of stuff for mixing, measuring, moving and testing the gallons of nutrients and soil you're going to use to pamper your plants.
All...
The G.O. Biweed (Kelp) seems to make a pretty good foliar using a 2.5ml / liter of water. It certainly didn't hurt them.
I'll give them another shot after defoliation.
Lucky13 Thanks for starting this thread. You motivated me to do something I haven't done before. I think I'll try...
So I was over at the dog park this morning with our pooch Holly, and along the river pathway I spotted these guys sticking up along the fence. I've seen a fair number of cannabis plants over the years, but never had an up close and personal view of any commercial hemp, which I'm assuming this...
I started fifteen in a 7 gallon bucket....The six left are a little bit dwarfed, because I'm just hunting for a couple of females to clone and bring inside, but I imagine you can scale this up to a full flower run.
One thing to note: if one dies or is slow or male and you cut it down, you'll...
This plant is drinking a gallon a day under a 600W HPS and is pretty happy in a 15 Gal rez. I start in 5 gal buckets and move up as the plants get bigger, (cuz I'm cheap with the nutes and am lousy and managing an ad-back program.)
I use a commercially available fulvic acid. It works great....I'd recommend buying the cheapest one you can find as the source doesn't really vary from one manufacturer to the next, it's a hardwood extract.
I understand that some folks are using G.H. Bio Marine (*Extra virgin, expeller pressed...
Today...17 days after 12/12 flip.
Not a very full screen...between the branch lost from the stem rot, and another I broke during training, it's looking like a small yield. If it looks a little droopy, it's because it's before coffee....just woke up.

I made a lot of changes all at once....against recommended practice. I transfer to 60 liter tub, mixed G.H. Maxi Series nutes that were new, and moved the plant to the HPS room all on the same day.
Forest in a bucket lost three more contenders yesterday....the Meds Web is down to one feeble looking plant. None of the GSCx have shown sex yet so they're staying in the garage overnight until they do.
I've got a California Lightworks Solar System 275...it's basically a dimmable version of the light you were looking at for double the money. If you can manage cooling and ventilation, the HIDs are the way to go. If I end up moving from the house I'm in, back into a condo, I'm certain I can keep...
The forest in a bucket keeps plugging along six weeks after planting. I intended to keep these outside, but there were a bunch of wet and cloudy days where it just made sense to put the bucket in the tent under a lamp.
Three males and one un-sexed weakling from the Med-Web plants have been...
I just completed a cloning cycle and was curious if anyone had any tips or tricks to exchange. Also, I was wondering how long it takes other growers to get from a cutting to a rooted plant and what sort of success rates you consider acceptable.
My "system" is like this.... I start by trimming...
