Here is the Sativa I cleaned up, tied up, and staked up at 6 weeks what it looks like now: (this is the one I wonder if I should cut it now, this is the one that kicks ass!)
O.K., now I have an interesting question when it comes to harvest time. We all know there is a certain timeframe in which to harvest your Indica or Sativa plants. Indica is "supposed" to be between 8 -10 weeks with week 9 being the approximate "prime" harvesting target. Sativa on the other hand...
Sativa #4... Isn't it something how you feed all your plants the exact same mixes for nutrients and get different reactions? This one seems to be more sensitive as compared to the others as you can see some discoloration of the leaves and maybe some nute burn too. This is the 2nd tallest plant...
***UPDATE CONTINUED*** And here are the others I do believe are solid Sativas as you can see how much skinnier these are...Buds are all in different stages of growth as you can also see by the hair coloring... This one is next to the Indica plant in previous post...
***UPDATE*** - 12/12/2021. Today marks week seven of flower for the ladies and getting close to that harvest time window of week 8 - 10 for Indica, which I believe I have 1. I was watering them this morning and was really taking a close look at the leaves to make sure I am picking the right...
***UPDATE*** - Tomorrow will mark 1 month into flower and the ladies just got plain water today. I'll have to go in and clean up some of the bottom as these are wasting plant energy to the tops. The mornings are a mix of smells, between skunky and fruity it's hard to distinguish which is which...
***UPDATE*** - Got the rest of my soil Tuesday (that was fast!) and finished transplanting the other 5 I had left. This morning I went and topped all the plants and have a week and 3 days left before flipping.
Here they are:
09/04/2021 - So a new adventure begins! Grow #15 in the books now so I started #16 and off to somewhat of a good start. 10 seeds all popped within 2 days. Transplanted on 2nd day into clear plastic drinking cups (to see the roots). So as I was outside bringing them in on an old tv tray (remember...
***UPDATE*** - So now I am at the end of week 10 of flower, the leaves are really starting to turn color fast and dropping off so I must be getting to close to an anticipated harvest within the next 2 weeks or when the girls themselves show that they are ready to cut (trichomes, hair color...)...
Growing time is not the issue as Indica does take approximately from seed to harvest 8 weeks vegging and another 8 - 10 weeks until harvest. Sativa on the other hand does take longer, 8 weeks vegging and 10 - 12 weeks in flower until harvest. I have done experiments on vegging time and found...
