As I was looking through the grow suggestions, I found an article that was very helpful when diagnosing a flowering issue with "bananas" in the buds. According to what I found; this issue dealt with the cause of possibly being light or heat stress. That this could possibly contribute to plants...
***UPDATE*** 08/07/2022. Today marks 1 month into flower for my 1st 3 girls and now starting to look more like buds. I had to start propping up branches and move them around a bit due to size. My others are now 1 week into transition and have not started to show anything yet but they have...
***UPDATE*** continued; Now tomorrow will mark 8 weeks of vegging for my other 6 so these are ready to begin transition week as I will move them back into the other room, move the lights back as well, switch out the tubes from 6800k to 2700k, not doing this until later on this evening so I can...
My water here is high in pH, at 7.4. I use aquarium pH down (1.5ml to 1 gallon water) which drops it down to 6.5 on the money as you can see my plants do very well
Here is food for thought: a 1-gallon plastic pot will take 2-4 cups of water to get at least 10% - 20% runoff. A 3-gallon plastic pot will take 4 to 8 cups of water for same amount of runoff, A 5-gallon plastic pot will take 1/4 of a gallon water up to maybe 1/2 gallon of water (again depending...
Here are the others that are 2 weeks behind, in 3-gallon pots, topped and trimmed. Will be 6 weeks into vegging tomorrow... The plant on the right was just transplanted today. That's why you don't see water in the tray.
***UPDATE*** as of tomorrow these 3 girls will have gone thru 1 week of transitioning from vegging to flower. Hairs are starting to become more visible. You can see how much space just these 3 plants are taking up. I also may have to go in and thin out the lower parts that isn't much just taking...
Howdy Y'all, I'm back again for another growing season that I started back in May and now I am 8 weeks and 3 days into vegging for my 1st 3 plants, 1 being "supposidly Blackberry Kush". I was given some seeds (smoke from a dispensary) from a friend. I started with 10 seeds but these were the...
So my last grow I used some old seeds (20 yrs+) and had 4 plants. Plant 1 I harvested at 8 weeks into flower, no issues here. Plant 2 I harvested at 8 weeks 4-5 days into flower, no issues here either. Plant 3 I harvested at 9 weeks into flower, this started to show 2 or 3 "neeners" or bananas...
This one was more noticeable towards the top of the bud. #2 came down at 9 weeks 5 days into flower.
I am also leaning towards cutting down #3 as well just because it looks just like the other 2 plants and I won't be able to watch it as close cause I just happened to be home today.
My other 2 plants, I am stringing them out 1 more week this Wednesday (week 10 of flower being Sativa) to let them mature a little more but keeping watch on them trichomes.
Later on this morning, I happen to be looking at Plant #2 because i just had a funny feeling about this on from yesterday...
Here's the catch... I do still see a lot of new growth as compared to the matured red hairs so here is where I'm kind of iffy about harvesting this one yet BUT again here I am in daily checking mode...
