Hi, Ckbrew, I really like purple girls. Theses seeds are from fastbud. And i got them @North Atlantic Seed Co.Fastberry, I grew her outside. Nice purple. LSD-25 anouther nice purple. then theres C-4.She was my 1st. purple. so i like her. Crystal Meth, She is a sativa purple. And BlackBerry. thats IT so far. But i have on order Dutch Passion BlackBerry kush. And sweetseeds DarkDevel. So i can let you know in 9 or 10 wks.
My setup is pretty simple but has worked for me for years. Two 5 gallon buckets per plant. The one on the outside stays empty to help regulate water temps. 1 4 port aerator and two lines per plant with two air stones. Ideally you should change out the water every 10 days to flush the tub and keep your nutes in line. Realistically you can get by with 3 or 4 flushes. Use less than full strength nutrients and keep the water level at least two inches below the net pot once roots have established (helps regulate ph) Ill be happy to get into specifics if you need. But hydro has worked like a charm for me. When it goes south it is generally very easy to fix simply by flushing the tub and adding required nutrients to address the issue and start with all fresh base nutrients.

    All my best,

So the second bucket outside the tent is kept empty. Do you pump it into the first bucket in the tent or use gravity system. The outside bucket you only use when changing nutrient solution, correct? And using about 4 gallons in the system for the inside bucket? That is the part I find unclear. Thanks for the help and the great post.
