thanks for the info o.m.g. i keep getting popup ads and was just wondering. i'll prob. go with s.f. but i gotta wait for s.s. to kick in. another q. is i had a huge leaf pile in my yard that i got rid of. can i use that black dirt or do i need to buy dirt and should i use the worms too? thanks from another old man but new grower

OMG, I sent you a message but no pics. In case you didn't didn't get the message, I have 2 autos Northern Lights. It's been two months and are now going into flower. I'm on 20 and 4. I was concerned that it took this long. A fellow grower suggested that I change my light schedule. Should I?

I am curious about the exact difference between manifolding and topping. In topping you cut off the top growth above a grow tip about 4 to six nodes up. If I am correct, in manifolding, you split the top of the main stem in two? What is the long term difference in the plant growth and yield?

I'm old and slow. A product of the sixties. I have finally been able to put all of the pieces together and solved most of my problems. Recently switched to 12/12.
The yellowing and spotting of leaves has gone away thanks to several generous servings of PH Down. My water was so alkaline it was unbelievable.
It is too late to train and top my plants but there is always the next grow on which to experiment .
I have a mixture of plants due to how some of the seeds were originally packed or started so they are all mixed up. One White Widow auto-flower, three that appear to be White Widow, and one who knows what. The auto flower is budding nicely but is not going to be a big producer. The rest, it will remain to be seen.
I have started six clones. This is my first time so time will tell if things have gone right.
