  • Hi. I'm in the site quite a bit, but I rarely log in. Whatever I'm usually here for I find without logging in.
Today I did and found that I was "mentioned" in a thread.

    I'm real!

I don't know what you were seeing that made you think some people are in the wrong place or something, but I'm real and check in once in a while.
I don't know what the output wattage from this panel is. I do know it will burn plants. We were replacing high bay lights in a production room at work. There were 6 panels that had cracks from shipment. They were going to throw them out. I asked if I could have them and now do. I googled the fixture but it never listed output wattage. They do produce 8000 lumens. Guess I could ohmn's law it and find out. My 3 plants are about 2 feet from the light and doing well.
I’m sorry I don’t know how to work this website I was wondering if you could tell if one of my plants is a Hermaphrodite and if these are pollen sacs I need to get away from my other plants.
Your info says you grow in 5 gallon cloth bags with coco/perlite. I am curious as to why you chose 5 gallon over 3 gallon. I have read that 5 gallon pots contribute to excessive humidity. Maybe that is not a problem in your weather climate? I asked does not the general rule of big pot = big roots = big plants apply? The answer was that in the hydro configuration, of coco/perlite with DTW the plant does not need more root space, and the 5 gallon pots caused excessive humidity. Do you agree with this line of thinking? Ty.

Hi Ck, I bought 5 gal because Nebula told me too and I always listen to what SHE says! Haha, RH here in AZ is usually about 15% to 20% in winter and 10% in summer so yes I need more most of the time. Sometimes as needed I put an extra bag in the cabinet so I can water it to raise humidity when the plants aren't ready yet. My Indica plants didn't get that big but the bags are choked with roots all through. So I'll let you decide what that means for you in your planning. Happy Fathers Day!
