    I commented on your research information because it very old information, very limited research and funded by the government. Im in Canada, legal now for a few years. I live within a 20 minute drive to some very large indoor commercial grows, some just around the corner. Actually been in two of them. 3 of 7 have folded within 2 years(owned and operated by people from a different city, with top notch scientific college graduates) The ones that are surviving and thriving are run by locally hired experienced growers..you need to adapt to the environment. The info you cited is great for experienced growers looking to improve their production. Not sure if you have been paying attention to the forum, but most of these people looking for help lately, cant start a plant, let alone try to increase their yield. They dont even read the basics to growing so i dont think their going to read that. Think more on the lines of crayons and pictures...much more effective for this audience. By the way, i didnt appreciate you calling me a prick because your feelings were hurt.

    how do u set up a vpn address i was streaming my tv through hacked fire stick payed £30 for year then it just stopped i asume cause server went down so if i had my own i was getting all sky tv american canada loads more i in uk any help welcome thanks

    Hey growell, you have to subscribe for a vpn. I use IPvanish, works well for my needs. Theres lots of others available...NordVPN ,ExpressVPN. I think you may be able to find some free ones..not positive. With your fire stick, problem isnt on your end..they wacked a bunch of servers overseas because of sky tv(they were pissed that people were free streaming soccer games n shit) That affected most of the streaming providers as well. Dont know much about the firestick so really cant help you there. Did you have kodi installed on the stick? I run my tv thru an old laptop,windows 7 haha, Install Kodi, you can install many apps for tv,movies,new movies and subscription tv. I use one called Epicstream, and or Helix. they have thousands of channels..US, Canada,Sky, all sports everywhere! no joke. and PPV etc etc...

    Homegrown I have a quick question for you. Am I going to need to bring these plants inside for 12 hours of darkness to get them to start the flowering stage or should they flower naturally? I appreciate your wealth of knowledge.

    Hey Chrismach, i just viewed your post, and your plants look good. Couple of things to think about...your not sure if the seeds are auto or photo. I know a couple of grow farms around me grow autos..sooo. Both autos and photos will flower on their own eventually. Autos will flip to flower whenever they feel the time is right, and Photos will flip when the days get shorter..heading into late summer/fall(longer nights-hence the 12 hrs darkness idea). I only did one indoor/outdoor grow cause it was a royal pain in the arse. You have to maintain the 12/12 schedule very precise to avoid re-veg or hermies. next thing to consider...its gotta be DARK! no light sneaking in a window, no lights on at all. My 1st grow was in a tent in my garage..LED's fans,filters, timer set for 12 hrs darkness(so outside for the day, back in tent for the evening and lights out)...only thing i didnt think of was heat in the garage.By July i had to purchase an A/C unit to cool the garage down..F@K! Taking all this into consideration..if its at all possible..i would let them do their own thing. give them as much sun as you can..if there are any autos, they'll start showing flowers soon..maybe 3 weeks away?. I have 2 Auto's and 2 Photos outside now, autos aren't showing anything yet, im thinking another couple of weeks before i see any flower activity. Another thing...i hear a lot of posters saying to LST or defoliate outdoor plants...dont do it. The outside girls need extra protection from everything, Hot sun,wind,etc..there is no need to take anything off an outdoor plant. i'll send you some pics of my ladies outside(cant do it here, gotta be a private message)...i just move them all around the yard to keep them in sunlight and water with rain water and fish poop...thats all i do to them. hg
