Still Around..? Doing well?

Hey RF,

hope all is well.... nothing going on and being home gave me a few weeks to catch up on some stuff. Trying to finish the small cabinet smoker that’s been sitting for a very long time. I spend more time cleaning off rust than I do welding. And, ran out of welding wire in the middle of a long day and ran to Home Depot only to wait in line and then wait in line to pay... this sucks but I would have never guessed this kind of thing would happen

Well thank you. Funny thing... it was supposed to take 40-55 days from honk honk... it was shipped Monday and DHL emailed and told me it will be delivered Thursday.... wow, I am tickled pink. But, I am going to spray the damn box and the machine with Clorox... JUST IN CASE!! Virus stuff bugs me and I am not typically affected by this kinda thing but.... human nature dictates my insanity and I am no germaphobe.

looking for some crazy color combos I can get in spray cans.... it’s not as durable a paint as automotive paints but I don’t need to be mixing, measuring and cleaning the spray gun...they’re also 1/20 the price. I repainted a boat 3 yrs ago with a phenomenal polyurethane gloss and the 3 gallons of paint and hardeners and epoxy primer was over $1500.00 and I have a friend who works for an auto body supply company so I got it for his cost. Frankly, it has been banging against the dock 3 seasons now and has zero sign of wear, scratching or fade. Looks like new gel coat. Found this pic attached.

as for BBQ...making a few rack of ribs either tomorrow or Wednesday ... I need about 7 hours so it’s a full day project . Prepping the ribs and getting the temp up to a steady 250 kills an hour all by itself.

Hi RF, could you take a look at my updated post with pics and let me know if they look ok? Do they seem a little yellow or is that me? I only put 4ml’s of cal mag with 4 gallons of ro water.

Sure...I’ve been playing since 1959... started age 6 and kept going. Played in rock bands, zeppelin type bands, folk guitar gigs in ski areas and bars. I come from a very long line of guitar players. In fact, I found a reel to reel tape of a guy I used to play with and myself from 1975. The tape still played so I transferred it to my computer recording software and made a cd.... believe it or not, I found the guy living in California after not hearing anything for 40+ years. When He wrote back, I sent him the cd. He sent me stuff he’d been playing other the last 40 years and he was really close to making it. He has the best voice I’d ever heard and his guitar skill are outstanding as well.

if you even go to a music store, you know what I’m thinking about guitar player.... not like growers at all !!
