Good Morning from the Ozarks: Is there a particular forum dealing with hydroponics? I'm months away from implementing, have read loads, but have a myriad of questions. Happy Trails

Hello. Not specifically. Just post your question as a new topic and growers will all chime in. Some are more/less helpful than others. So be selective on how you choose which advice to take.

I have a friend who moved to the Ozarks. The Missouri side.
Hello Toker1, I'm a new grower in socal, and just wondering where do you get your seeds?

Herbie's, seedsman, sol seeds, new 420 guy.
All 4 of these places have given me great results.
Hey Toker1, hope all is well.
Just a quick note about a cali visit, I got tickets to Mr.Bugle at the Warfield Saturday the 8th of February 2020 and will be in the bay area that day and the day after. If I have time or if you are going to the show we should have a powwow.

I totally agree with your comments. I was very disappointed at finding the aphids and carefully separated those buds from the rest. Slow curing is definitely how to do it. Good seed stock and full sun. Normally preen the plants carefully and remove any pests by hand. Never had aphids before. I like to share good mull with my mates. I'm sure it won't be hard to give away. Just don't want to make anybody sick.

If you breed predatory bugs. Like lady bugs. They will devour all the aphids for you. But then I always find dead lady bugs in the buds. Lol
Hi Toker. I wanted to ask for your input on my post today in there's a new girl in town. I'd like your advise on water temp control. Mine rides right with air temp and I'm thinking 75 to 77 could be a bit high? Sorry I don't know how to link yet but you'll see in my post the girls are doing awesome, at least by my soil grubbing basis of comparison. Any advise will be highly appreciated.

Hello. Water temps for DWC should be around 68F. This is for the best dissolved oxygen content in the water with best for root growth. 75F gets a bit warm, lowers the DO content and raises risk for root rot.
You might want to look into a water chiller to keep temps with in a decent range.
yes hi it is fox farm ocean forest

So your heavy feeders will need nutrients in approx 2 weeks from transplant. Light feeding strains can go longer.
Ocean forest is hot soil...so make sure they have significant foliage already when transplanting them. Otherwise they can get nutrient burn. If the plants are still very small... might want to consider mixing 1/2 ocean forest into 1/2 happy frog before adding perlite. This way you don’t burn/stun the newer smaller plants.
