  • Four gallons. I pull the baby plant out and add nutes then bring it to 5.8 and check again and it's up to 7. Something in four or so hours, this happened for a week and the plant looked poor, I had lots of bubbles and a scum ring around the top as well as the air stones are slimy. I put them in soil and and hoping they will come back. I bought a dark blue bucket from Lowe's and a proper growing lid. It's my first dwc and it's something I would like to be successful in.

My three ideas would be to try water from a dispenser like those ones outside of grocery stores. 2, monitor the temp of the water. I believe the ideal temp range is 60°F - 70°F. And maybe try reflective tape all around the outside of the reservoir to ensure no light gets through. You might have it well blocked with that silver paint but it's worth a shot if the other 2 ideas don't work. I'm fairly new to rex as well but have read a ton on it and many journals on them. Let me know what you find out please. I'm interested in this

    Any luck with it?
Zomb I built a new room this summer and I would rethink waiting until your room is done to germ. the seeds. when I finished my room the urge to put something in it was driving me crazy lol . I ended up sticking some plants I had on patio . Just thought I would save you some fretting lol

Thanks for the tip buddy. As of right now, I'm waiting on a plenum box to finish my phone exhaust system. My air cooled hood's seal along the glass was ruined when I slid the glass out. So to make sure I don't have neighbors smelling the crop I'm adding a plenum box after the hoods. My seeds won't get here for another 2 weeks at the latest. Besides the plenum, I'm all set. Plenum should be here in another week. Thanks again for the heads up.
