Firstly I confess to a state of rage when someone tells me to “relax”...and I therefore tend to freak out about my plants so much it is a rare moment when I am not anxious about something. Secondly I have never grown in soil for the very reason you are anxious. Even my wagonettes are in coco/perlite and they require feeding every other day. The one difference is I use Roots Organic” when transplanting to the 7 gal air pot which is supposed to require just pH water. THAT said...after 3 weeks ( my understanding from my hydro guy) you still have to or should feed SINCE the nutrients in the mix travel to the bottom of the pot/roots and do wash out. AGAIN -you are in a rich soil mix .
I can speak to what I do but I am totally uninformed on soils. But yes root rot can be an issue in soil-even in fabric pots.
One thing I noticed is that your fabric pots appear to be thicker than the Smart pot brand..am I correct that they are not smart pots?
IF those were my plants (again I tend to panic and don’t do autos) I would invest approx $30 ea. in air pots (partly because a good grower on forum..no longer around) used them with a Kind soil mixture) indoors. I would risk transplanting using Roots Organic-slightly moistened with pH water @6-removing as much soil
without! Disturbing root ball. The air pots are not the exact size as fabric pots but if it is a bit bigger you’d have some depth and side space for backfill. Then only use pH water for a week or two as the Roots Organic has nutrients in it. Then feed just Roots nutrient or-as I did use the same feed I give the indoor plants. Expensive and risky
The problem is as you know diagnosis is difficult as the symptoms over lap the causes.
Another soil issue is that some plants genetically prefer less of one thing and more of another- which is what is a nother impossible factor.
Not being there I suspect the soil was too rich to start, got over watered yes, but now you dont know what nutrients and how much are available to the plant for the rest of the term.
I have witnessed a plant going from coco to soil but not the reverse. That Roots Organic has nutrients in it for the first 3 weeks would be a helpful place to start. Then resume a feeding program once the root ball becomes established in the coco.
Not only is this lengthy response not relieving your anxiety- I have answered nothing- and generated a difficult proposition for which I do really apologize. Simply I don’t know. The biologics of soil is way over my head even tho I know that FFOH is very popular.
Ideally they will perk up and and give you a good run. If not...a radical change?

Tika, absolutely no apologies necessary!!! I truly value your opinion and advice. Yes, my fabric pots are Smart Pots. Got them at hydro store for less than 5 bucks each. I don't know if they come in different thicknesses or styles as that was all they carried. Also got stands like yours for pots at store for $1.50 each which surprised me as they were more expensive online. Anyway, picked up a moisture meter at HD today and after 3 days with no water meter registers moisture right in the sweet spot. So I feel better about diagnoses of girls. Apparently they don't like being waterboarded! Since they have already been stressed I haven't given them any more nutrients thinking that FFOF soil is rich, not as much as kind soil, and hoping autos will draw out much of the nitrogen by the time flower starts (which is already in progress). I gave them some blackstrap molasses but waiting to see some vigor before giving any more bloom nutes. Damn, I thought autos were supposed to be easy!! I have 5 photo soil grows under my belt and have been watching closely, all you perlite/coco growers rave about that medium. I know FFOF is highly recommended, and my hydro guy tells me he sells a ton of it to local growers but I have seen some complaints here about ph being off. Strange thing is, mine seems to be on the high side but the complaints I've read deal with low ph. This grow has humbled me but after a couple of more I just might have to make the switch to coco!!! Hell, if this grow is any indication, I don't have much to lose!!! Thanks again for your support and advice. You're the BEST!

Well my dear...it will be a new year and alto people dis this and that..and again I am a simple and plain photo grower who follows instructions disgustingly / my program works for me where I am in growing new mixed strains. I do not and have not nor will not profess to be an expert.
What I will say is that I do now and always have- wish you success....and continue to.

Right now I think I like growing photos better but still early growing first auto. Wanted to try something that didn't take so long to flower. I like having the veg time to train properly (and correct issues) but still suffer from impatience waiting for flower to finish!! BTW, I googled "Tika, artist" and came up with someone that has painted murals all over the world. Is that you???

Been reading up on growing with coco, might just make the switch for next grow. Thanks for the encouragement to try coco. I'm growing Gorilla Glue now per your recommendation!
