  • Hey Canyon Grower, It's a tough question to answer, cuz I have used cannabis recreationally for most of my life. My wife uses it for pain and to help sleep, so it does help me to sleep and other muscle aches. Hinderance is sometimes the munchies come on, so.......but a little salty something or other.....also bake cookies in case blood sugar goes low, something sweet. I developed adult onset diabetes when I was 40 or so and i'm 60 now. My son has been type 1 his whole life. I keep my blood sugar in control by taking my insulin around the same time every morning as well as eating my 3 meals a day around the same time of day. Don't know if that helps at all, but I've been really liking the pot we've been smoking after the 90s. And being able to grow it, is a real bonus.

So other than making munchies a little tougher to handle, is it fair to say that you have not noticed other effects on your diabetes? My principal concern would be that it directly impacts blood sugar or the efficacy of insulin. My son would like to use as a replacement for alcohol, which causes him a rough nights sleep, and of course, the attendant headache.
    Many thanks, Canyon
