    I had a look back and i did answer this question for you quite thoroughly. I wonder if i offended you in any way ?. None given if thats the case. I suggest a reread of that thread which is quite thorough.

    If you are still confused if wether plants have a daily limit, answer me this. When plants are grown with countinous lighting, why dont they perform terribly compared to other light periods. When they are grown in countinous lighting, their circardian clock is eventually thrown out the window. So cycilic shifts no longer occur. If they had a daily limit, with continous light schedules they would get slower and slower growth because a day does not mean anything to them.
    When i last spoke to you on that subject, i said i was going to study on the subject. Which i did, i spent about a week in my books and online articles. Came to the same conclusion.
    Also as i had referenced with the chandra study, he cites another study which details about a steady state level in photosynthesis after a duration of time. Meaning that a steady state is acheived and stays there.

    Thanks Nebula, I'm feeling pretty comfortable with my own growing style in coco even though I know there's always room for improvement.

    I'm just trying to give back to the community by spending more time trying to help other people who are only just starting out and trying to learn a daunting amount of new information. I've read every single article on GWE at least once, even if it doesn't relate to what I do with my grows in the hope that I can help someone else.
    I always try to put things in my own words as well as provide pictures or links to the GWE sources so I wouldn't be able to do my part without all the effort Sirius and yourself have put into making the GWE community and treasure trove of information. Way better than typical grow books with vague information that doesn't really help new growers much.

    Sorry if my comment the other day seemed disrespectful, that was in no way what I intended. I should have paused a moment to think how it may have been perceived by others and I have since deleted the comment.

    i have some strawberry sour , and skunk#1 seeds that just sprouted. I have them in only pour water and hydroguard. How long would you suggest i keep things like that until i start adding nukes?

    Ok so since you're using hydroguard I'm assuming you're using some sort of hydro setup like DWC/bubbleponics? The water that you're using, is it just out of a tap/spring/well?

    6 lither pots, lights LED its a new system nobody knows anything about it as a advice but the really like it and they grow fast,they are 50,55 cm. from the plants its not hot inside its 24C i think its ok. I see you know a lot about plants are those big babys yours? size 120 long, high 150, leigh 60 cantemeters,7 plants (its a lot for the room)please help buddy i will appreciate it

    OzBud mate, have one question , how bad can be if make transplantation of my seedling lets say in few days, i have think a lot about my situation with my mj, so many thing i am not sure about on example i noticed that my pot is not to tall acctually its only 3inches tall , thas why i am wondering about transplantation and also in that case i ll go and buy good soil mix and do it as i should first time . ???

    Hey mate, you can transplant as early as you like just be very gentle as young seedlings have very fragile roots. The leaves to the edges of the cup thing is just a guide for the latest you should transplant to prevent the seedling from becoming root bound and stunting growth.

    You have a few choices:
    1. some good soil like Fox Farms Happy Frog (I have no experience with this product) mixed with 30% perlite for better drainage. With this option you'll still need to add nutrients from time to time (Probably best to use fox farm nutrient trio for soil so they're already designed to work well with the soil) again, I have no experience with Fox Farm nutrients either but they come highly recommended by GWE and other forum members. You'll also need to check/adjust pH.
    2. Buy pre made composted super soil, if you get the right stuff you shouldn't have to worry about adding any nutrients or checking pH at all during the grow. Just water your baby and watch it grow.
    3. You could choose to try coco coir. Most people mix coco with about 30% perlite for added drainage. Coco requires adding nutrients and adjusting the pH every time you water.

    Have a read of the link I put above, think about how often you want to be looking after your plant in regards to nutrients/ pH etc and decide from there. If you have any more questions ask away and I'll do the best I can to help.

    tnx mate , i planned to go and visit some local store here where i live and check what kind of soil they offer, then i ll ask again for your advice :D ,
    what do u mean by *if i get the right stuff* (for pre made compostd supersoil) ,is there anything special i should look for , ratios , nuttes etcetc ?

    I didn't mean anything specific by if it's the right stuff, should have just left that bit out If it's a decent gardening store they should know what you're talking about if you ask regarding composted organic super soil. It's basically all sorts of awesome organic things mixed together and composted. Full of nutrients and microbial life. It gives plants nutrients it needs and helps buffer the soil into being a good pH level.
    People can make their own but it takes time to compost it properly before you can use it on plants plus you usually have to make a fair bit but stores sell it in bags. If you can get hold of some pre made store bought stuff (it may cost a bit I'm not sure) but you won't need any extra nutrients or pH testing stuff which could end up saving money. You could mix it with 30% perlite for added drainage.

    If you just get some normal soil I'd probably stick with Nebula's suggestion of Fox Farms Happy Frog if it's available. It's got some nutrients in it, but not too much and they're in the right ratio. Then you'd need to look at Nutrients like the fox farm trio for soil for example, a water pH tester, soil pH tester, pH up, pH down etc.

    I'm not sure where you live or how much of a range your local store will have.
