Grinder/shredders

Hi all,

What kind/type grinder to you use?

I have a purple Santa Cruz 2 piece shredder which I really like. I had it for a while now and was thinking of getting new one.
I don't get the 3 or 4 piece shredders.
The one small thing I would change is grips on both top and bottom plates/shredder. Or clean my shredder more often.

I live in Canada and I'm looking for a Canadian made shredder simular to the Santa Cruz.

I gave up on grinders since my flower is always so sticky good and it clogs the grinder real fast. Trimming shears have replaced the grinder.

Never had a grinder other than my pepper grinder. More of a tincture and hash man..If I smoke a bud usually just pinch off a bud and burn it in my pipe

I used a Cali Crusher for a longtime. Downside to it is frequent replacement of the plastic washer and it got clogged. I now use a Krups coffee grinder. It works well and is easy to clean. It took a while to get the grind right. I like a tobacco type of grind for a reefer.

I have a nice, four piece, aluminium grinder I got with purchase points from a local dispensary - still in the box. I simply pinch off a piece of bud and place into my pipe. For making prerolls with my Raw Six-Shooter, I chop up the buds with a sharp kitchen knife. I find it faster.

I use a "kaff'e" coffee bean grinder. After curing I grind to the consistency that works good in my water pipe. I store in snap lid med bottles. So far no problems with mold or moisture.

Those snap lid bottles remind me of the old kodak film containers.

Ah the film “cannasters” that’s a throw back.
Great containers until that lid popped off and spilled your stash, lol
Back then that mattered, now when I have a spill I just get the vacuum and grab more from my stash
Grow weed easy

I got one of these for the wife who has trouble with arthritis after 30 yrs as a chef and can’t turn the manual bud buster easily anymore.
Cool idea works pretty well.

I use the metal multi-piece ones. I like that I can grind up a few nugs and it lasts all weekend. I smoke out of a bong so once the weed is ground up I can make a bowl and smoke it in seconds.

Those film canisters are great for storing seeds too! Spill the weed.. really don’t worry about that any more have so much weed now give it away make edibles,gummy,tincture,hash and bud for smoking. The wife were I were talking the other day 40-50 years I would have giving my left gonad for the weed now that I throw into the compost pile now. Don’t mess with the larfy buds or any inferior or I don’t like … times have changed.

The coffee grinder (electric, not a burr type) has saved me about 3 years of time in my life. I first tried it when I was grinding up some for a longer trip to where I wanted to take about a half or so ready to roll. Now I grind about an 1/8th at a time and keep it in an open jar. Lasts a few days and I doubt I'll ever hand grind again. It knocks off extra trichs but it works great
