LCD vs.HPS
just got done with my first tent grow.actually it was my third indoor grow but the first time using a tent.I started with a cheap,1000watt (?) LCD light.The plants vegged and grew great until I put them to flower.Had them flowering for 6 weeks under the LCD but they really weren't making fat buds.So one day i got pissed and switched the light to a 600watt HPS. The buds finally (after another 4 weeks) got some substance to them but never got big,fat and hairy like my first two grows. The LCD is great for vegging but doesn't have enough jizz for flowering? It was like they were stunted after being under the LCD.Anyways i've sold all the big LCDs and will use nothing but HPS from now on.
I still have several 40-60 watt LCDs I use in my seedling/clone cabinets but that's the only place I'll use them
