Decided to go with it on the out side. I have a cheapo fan and having the filter hooked directly to it definitely eliminates quite a bit of noise , added bonus. My sock will not fit on the inside of my filter, however I have a filter on the tube side in the tent.

Wondering what options on mounting the carbon filter in the tent so everything is sucked in, or mount it after the exhaust so all air is sucked from the tent and blown out the filter. Will the fan work better one way or the other ? Does one direction offer more filtration than the other ? Any...
