I was wondering if anyone has thought of using acrylic fabric medium mixed 2:1 with black acrylic paint to seal light leaks from seams etc. Or does anyone else have any suggestions that would work with minimal effect on appearance of the material itself?

I would like to know whether other people switch right to 12-12 or if they prefer slowly lowering the hours on until it reaches 12 on & 12 off? Ex. 18-6,to 17-7,to 16-8, etcetera.
