Quick Trichome Question

Hello all, I am in the final home stretch for my grow and I was looking closely at the trichomes and was thinking they are looking about ready for harvest maybe even a bit past as I am hoping for mainly getting as much THC out of the overall plant while still getting the most yield as well. I was thinking about chopping it today and hanging to dry but wanted to quickly get opinions as I am not 100% certain if I should give it a couple days or go right now with some spots looking less developed while others are starting to get a decent amount of amber, I have some of the pictures I have taken attached. Any Input is appreciated, thank you.

Hello @Bowii It's your call of course, but those trichomes look ready to harvest IMHO. A couple of questions. Are those pics of sugar leaves or the buds themselves? Do you have a plan to harvest and cure? That includes an assessment of your drying environment. How are the temps and humidity where your plants will dry? Hi, I had a hard time being sure myself when exactly I was looking at a sugar leaf or bud itself but I believe what I did take pictures of is mainly the buds. I do plan to dry in my tent, with the 60/60 ratio temps around me do change up a decent amount with it being a bit hotter than ideal sometimes but my AC should cover that, the humidity does usually spike up to 60-70 at night and dip in the mid day but I have a humidifier to deal with low levels so its just mainly those nights I hope don't cause too much trouble. And I do plant to cure it myself for at least 4 weeks, though I have read that you can see benefits up to 6 months so I will see how long I feel like doing so.

I just dried a harvest with temps at 70F and RH 52. It took about 5 days...maybe coulda gone one more day. If you cannot achieve the 60/60 guide, don't sweat it. Roll with what you have. I cannot achieve the 60/60 standard with my setup I had the exhaust fan on the lowest setting in the grow tent. After they dry and are jarred up, burp them daily for at least two weeks.

Hey Golf. I don't know if you're a Herbies bean fan or not, but I think you're a sativa fan. Herbies and Blimburn have come together with what they call Section 781 beans. They have a sativa being sold with this packaging that you might want to check out.
