Ganja strains for chronic pain

I wanted to take the opportunity to ask the forum members about knowing of a ganja strain that can make a marked improvement in pain level/management? I have never had a ganja strain help w/my pain management although I target strains for insomnia. I have high level chronic pain from idiopathic scoliosis. There are two 45-degree curves in my twisted spine. My back looks like the hunch back of Notre Dame except I have two large humps! Any serious suggestions for severe chronic pain out there? I would welcome those for sure and thanx

Hey chipper I have a some good results with minor pains with gdp and train wreck/superwreck from twenty/20. My wife micro doses with gdp tincture about every other day. She has chronic shoulder and knee pain. She is an corp.accountant with a major retailer and needs a clear head daily to focus so the micro dose seems to help her. I on the other hand being retired don’t have to worry about that. Side observation on medication.. I’m not so sure if it really is pain relief as it is making me relax and don’t care about the pain. I usually go to tincture instead of smoke. The smoke mess with my sinuses. The tincture last longer and feels stronger can also adjust more or less for pain or high… more evaporation on the tincture makes it stronger got a couple of real killers in the fridge a white widow and avenue of the giants. Usually 6 ml knock it and me out.

I'm not very savvy on consumption other than flower. Is the tincture something you make or buy at the ganja stores? I have never been inside one of them. And thanx for the response. Relaxation does help a lot for killing pain. I sure never thought my body would morph into what it is today. Pain is with me as soon as my feet hit the floor. I should be like George Carlin (need a spell check). He toked up before his feet ever hit the floor!

I know what you mean chipmunk, it seems like I have at least one part of me hurting all day everyday, especially the back. Getting old ain't for sissies. As far as pain relief goes I've had better luck with the 1 to 1 ratio of thc/cbd strains. Royal Highness from RQS is a good one. Harlequin is another strain I've heard is really good for pain relief but I haven't grown it yet. Sometimes mixing high thc strains with a 1 to 1 works really well also.

Tough to beat a good tincture. I make my own 1-2 oz of decarb gdp mixed in at mason jar let seep for 4 weeks in everclear. Ready to go after that..strong flavor to choke down I either put a squirt or 2 in a shot glass with a little lemonade or mix with the evening beer. I usually remove the lid after the 4 weeks and let it evaporate down to increase the effect. You could cook it down on the stove but i don’t no real reason. It also last a long time in the fridge.i do have some Royal Highness seeds from RQS to try in the near future. As per orggrwr recommendations..
