question about tincture sludge.....

Hi.
So I made a quart of some tincture out of purple chemdawg. From experience making oil based extracts, I've learned that the sludge can be used in edibles to make the most out of my work. my question is the sludge left from tincture production still has psychoactive properties?
 
No. It was unclear what you were asking as there many different extraction methods. There is a little in there, but if your extraction method is efficient it is not worth chasing after it.
 
The answer is still yes there is goodness left in the sludge. Butter is your solvent and contains the goodness. There is still butter in your sludge.
It comes down to how much effort you want to put into squeezing out the last little bit.
Alcohol extraction is a little different because you can flush weed for days with alcohol and reduce it over heat. You can't do that with butter.
I want to start a movement to make tinctures and butter and junk with kief. Who's my first convert?
 
Already done that GB. Just more goodness. I like using dry ice to get the kief. I can shake the piss out of it and not be concerned with a little plant material in the mix.

I read a thing about dry ice purity and now only use it for winterization. The thing I read was probably on another weed website so take it with a gram of cold cure live resin.
Ever try DIH with fresh trimmed bud? Researching a po' boy's method of making live resin might have led me to questioning DI purity.
 
yea I've read about DI impurities. Just have to hope it is not so. With all the crap in the food, water, air, idk if it makes a difference. Have you had your weekly 5 gm dose of edible plastic yet? Fresh trimmed bud DIH. With the difficulty of obtaining DI here that would take some serious planning.
 
We can't eliminate. We can only mitigate. Like, I will never grow weed on my balcony because of the pollution from the state highway I live a sidewalk and three stories above, ocean spray from a mile and a half from, and the Tijuana River situation.
Took me a bit to find a DI source. But now that I know, it's a snap.
 
Brah! I'm 4ish miles from the thing. There are people who live within a mile and have been here in the decades this has been going on.
Another reason to hate lawyers... firms are advertising specifically to my community of 25,500. They don't say who they're going after. They just want you to call them if you have been affected by the aerated fecal matter.
The hundreds of millions of dollars we're about to give Mexico won't last as long as the last hundreds. Not only does new infrastructure need to be built, but the last round of construction also needs repair or removal.
I don't want to get political, but keep your fucking tariff, look into public education, hang your corrupt and take care of your problems. Damn, but they don't care because the river flows north.
