HELP! Downward curled cannabis leaves in new growth

Hi all, i just topped the attached two plants and the next day the top leaves serms to be curled and dis oriented. Is this due to too much sunlight or any other reason ?
looking for your expert opinion.

I don't grow in soil but your dirt looks like it needs some aeration because it appears to be compacted. Give us some details of your grow. Nutrients, feed schedule, light schedule, etc.

Hi friend, its a local photo period sativa plant grown out door. My soil mix consists of top soil, compost, cow manure, and rise husk.

i dont have a specific feeding schedule and feed it 15:15:15 NPK fertilizer every week.

this disorientation occurred once i topped the plant and transferred them to a larger container.
