Harvest Time?

Afternoon fellow growers. Looking for confirmation that these girls are ready for harvest. They've been cooking on the flowering cycle for well over a month, and the leaves are starting to yellow a good bit. The branches are also leaning over due to the weight. I know online it says to wait until the trichomes start turning amber, and granted I don't have a magnifying glass but doesn't seem like that's ever going to happen.

They seem like they could be ready to me but just want to make sure.

Northern Lights Feminized Auto's. Started early September. They seemed to start flowering (auto) around late October.

Thanks!

Well get one a jewlers loupe every grower i know uses one. Yes those are great looking from a distance but trichs are importaint.

looks like some heat issues too the fan leaves are canoeing and curling up... a sign of heat stress. I'd still give them a week or two though...

I agree with dilvish and SoOrbudgal on this, A jewelers loupe is only about $15 on Amazon and You are definitely showing some heat stress. I know it is hard to be patient, I am going through pre-harvest jitters myself right now, it's almost as bad as being in a waiting room at a maternity ward. The plants have their own internal calendar. If you must, harvest a little now and the rest later.

I've ordered a jewelers loupe. Also moved the lights up to help with the heat stress. I'm not really too concerned about harvesting for the supply, more concerned if I wait too long. Can buds go bad if I wait too long?

Yes they can foxtail due to stress like that heat or lights being to low. But i'd try and get as close as possible to get milky trichs at the very least. Those leafs will maybe unfold but i believe damage has been done by the heat, that's also bad. Never rush the grow, we spend months on photoperiod plants don't rush the finish.

Buds can also sprout nanners and pollinate themselves if allowed to become overripe. I've had a GSC do that because I let it go too late in flower. Now I have a small collection of unintended Cookies crosses to grow out.
